Training & Ground Truth

1. Scope

The Aquifer project offers cooperation, support and training to its partners in Maghreb/Africa: local providers and user organisations. The focus is on the joint design and development of the Aquifer products & services and their use through on-site support and cooperation.

In total around 12 months of expert time is devoted to this activity as on-site time with the partner.

The following main types of intervention are provided:

A) Local Provider Training

Joint design and development of Aquifer products – focus on LU/LC
Aquifer products generation

B) User Training

On application and use of EO based products, services and limitations
Provision of user hand book and demonstration material
On occasion of workshops and training sessions

C) Joint Ground Truth

The interventions and workshops are open to other interested parties. A training plan can be downloaded from the website's internal sections and is also available on request.
